The Union Audio Orbit 6 (red) rotary DJ mixer has been designed by Andy Rigby-Jones (creator of the Allen & Heath Xone series of mixers) to exceed the requirements of the most discerning DJ. Hand crafted in Cornwall using the finest components and precision engineered to deliver an unrivalled rotary mixing experience with sound quality that is without comparison, Orbit 6 delivers Union Audio’s signature sound and tactile control over your mix.

Within the 19-inch rack chassis are 6 channels, each of which feature individual valve stages which contribute significantly to the rich, warm tone of the mixer. The fully discrete internal signal path enhances audio clarity, and the bespoke op-amps deliver visceral bass reproduction, a detailed yet warm mid-range and crisp high-end frequencies. Electrical noise is kept to a minimum thanks to the external Europa linear power supply ensuring optimal audio performance.

Connectivity wise, there are four RIAA turntable inputs, which are on channels one to four, these are also switchable to line level inputs for CDJs if required. Channels five and six each offer a pair of live inputs with channel six also offering a switchable microphone channel, complete with three band which is adjustable from the rear of the mixer.

The first thing that strikes you when taking the Orbit 6 out of the packaging is the build quality. Everything lines up perfectly and the unit is built to last. The rotary faders are mounted in a custom designed, heavily damped enclosure and feel unlike anything else – the action is smooth with a weighted feel that delivers control and confidence. Union Audio have built the 6 for the club, with backlit, chunky level knobs and IP4 rated cue buttons.

The VU meters are custom designed and provide precise visual feedback of the output levels, even flashing red when the signal level exceeds a preset threshold. When it comes to the mix itself, the combination of the individual valve stage, bespoke op-amps and a little bit of summing magic create some of the most engaging blends you’ll ever hear.

All items are sent with DPD. For added security, expensive items will require a pin code at delivery which is emailed to you.

DPD aims to deliver next day, but some remote parts of the UK may experience a two day service.

Returns.

Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.

Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.

Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

  • All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
    manufacturer warranty.
  • Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
    considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
    charge.
  • Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
  • Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
    customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
  • Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
