Since the creation of the company in 1972, Roland has been a global leader in the design and manufacture of ground-breaking musical instruments - including pianos, keyboards and synthesizers, guitar products, electronic percussion kits, digital recording equipment, amplifiers and audio processing devices. Notable products from Roland include the new TR8S Rhythm Performer which is a staple of artists such as Disclosure and Richie Hawtin, the SE-02 monophonic analog synthesizer and Roland’s Boutique series compact classic synth recreations.

Roland continue to produce innovative hardware, having co-developed a series of DJ controller with Serato such as the DJ-808 which is a DJ controller that features a built-in drum sequencer, synth connectivity, voice transformer and more.

Roland also produce one of the most popular portable samplers, the SP-404 which was made famous by producers such as Madlib and MF Doom and used by many artists pushing the boundaries today including Shlohmo, Teebs and Grimes to name but a few.
