The Bozak AR-4FX rotary DJ mixer is a four-channel desk top mixer built around the classic Bozak rotary format, updated for modern DJ requirements and designed to sit comfortably between a pair of SL1200s or CDJs. With per-channel 3-band EQ/isolator control, a dedicated 3-band master isolator, flexible cue monitoring, separate booth and master control, and AR-4FX-specific aux send and return routing for external effects, it is aimed at professional DJs and high-end selectors who want premium analogue control with more creative scope.

Classic Bozak rotary design, refined for modern setups

The AR-4FX builds on the established AR-4 platform, a mixer designed around spacious control placement, angled VU metering and a hands-on rotary workflow that feels instinctive in use. It is made for DJs who want room to work, clear visual feedback and a mixer layout that supports long blends, tone shaping and deliberate performance choices rather than feature overload.

Wooden side trims are included as standard, giving the AR-4FX the premium finish expected from a high-end Bozak mixer while preserving the practical desk top format that works equally well in refined home systems and serious booth installs.

Four channels with proper Bozak signal flow

Ready for turntables, line-level sources and mic input

The AR-4FX features four input channels. Inputs 1 to 3 can be switched between dedicated stereo RIAA phono preamps and stereo line-level input, while input 4 can be switched between mono mic preamp and stereo line-level input. That makes it a strong choice for premium vinyl systems, hybrid turntable and media-player setups, or installations where microphone support still matters.

Channel isolator control plus master isolator

Each programme channel features 3-band EQ/isolator control with full cut and up to +6dB boost, while the mixer also includes a dedicated 3-band master isolator. This gives DJs the control to shape individual channels with precision and then make broader tonal moves across the full mix when needed.

What makes the AR-4FX different

Per-channel aux send for external effects

The AR-4FX adds a more performance-led external FX workflow, with a send button on each channel routing signal to the aux mix buss and on to an external FX unit. The mixer also includes dedicated send and return connections on 1/4-inch TRS sockets, plus a return control for blending the processed signal back into the mix.

Pre or post fader routing for more creative mixing

Each channel includes pre/post aux routing. In post-fader mode, the FX level follows the rotary channel control. In pre-fader mode, the signal can still be sent to the FX unit even with the rotary channel control down, opening up more creative transition techniques for delays, reverbs and other external processing.

Monitoring and output control for a serious booth

The AR-4FX uses dual backlit analogue VU meters that can be switched between master and cue, a headphone cue/programme blend control, headphone level control and a backlit 1/4-inch headphone socket for easier use in darker environments. Separate booth and master controls are paired with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs, giving the mixer the output flexibility expected in premium DJ setups.

Built for feel, durability and long-session use

Bozak fits the AR-4FX with ALPS RK27 Blue Velvet pots, carbon resistors, polyester mylar capacitors and a worldwide power supply. Combined with custom-tooled knobs, generous control spacing and the standard hardwood side trims, the result is a mixer built for DJs who care as much about touch and response as they do about the headline specification.

Why choose the Bozak AR-4FX?

If you want a premium rotary mixer that combines classic Bozak layout and analogue control with more flexible external FX routing, the AR-4FX stands out as a serious option.
