Lush 2 isn’t based on just a single machine; it’s built from modules that can be found in many modern virtual synths, combined into one compact, logical layout. Don’t let its looks fool you: though it may look benign at first, its modular, multi-layer architecture takes it beyond simplistic poly-synths to the top shelf of extremely powerful, deeply programmable and devilishly versatile instruments in your arsenal. Suspiciously accurate sound is achieved only through experience: countless hours were spent analysing classic analogue synthesizers, and then designing and implementing DSP algorithms with close attention to every component in the signal path - not just approximating its overall output. We deliver to you a synth built on oscillators of uncompromising quality, filters with an incredibly natural warmth and character, and best-in-class effects. On top of that, with all of the layers, multi-layer options, and routing capabilities the plugin offers - there’s no end to what you can do with just a single instance of Lush 2

Synthesizer
Lush 2 lets you reach “unheard of” levels of creativity - each layer works as an independent synthesizer with its own polyphony, parameters, enhanced arp, and a choice between 8 of the finest insert effects.

Substantial factory content
Over 1600 presets (all preset types included) curated into a clear, easy-to-navigate structure. A carefully prepared, categorized and tagged bank always lets you find exactly what you’re looking for - from massive basses, to complex sequences, to the toughest-sounding synthetic percussion you’ve ever heard... you’ll find it all here. Huge, inspiring arpeggiator performances covering an unusually broad scope will draw you in from the first key press.

Plus, most of the factory presets make extensive use of the modulation matrix to produce sounds that are much more expressive and flavourful; Lush 2 was designed to be a musical instrument first and foremost, and therefore the factory presets were designed with playability and personality in mind.

Multilayer architecture
This guarantees Lush 2 has virtually limitless sound design possibilities and unique applications. You can quickly create multi-layer sounds by simply assigning any (or all) of the 8 layers to the same MIDI channel; this can result in anything from subtle chorusing to sonic anarchy!

Assigning layers to different keyboard zones lets you create sophisticated splits, and an entire split-zone preset library exists to get you started. You can also assign different layers to different MIDI channels for 8-part multi-layer usage, and send out up to 11 audio outputs.

VCO with Analog feel
Innovative oscillator algorithms developed by D16 make Lush 2 sound exactly like a sampled hardware analog synth - but without the sampling! There is no aliasing in the oscillators, even at 22kHz from the note’s base frequency. Vibrato and pitch bend don’t compromise the spectral quality of the oscillators, allowing Lush 2 to sound completely authentic even with the most challenging performances.

+ Few several tweaks hidden in drop-down panels giving you yet more possibilities;

Musical filter
Resonance is constant across the entire frequency range, making the filter sound totally authentic, especially when controlled with the envelopes or an LFO. Pushing the resonance to maximum and turning all the oscillators down will produce a pure, pleasant sine wave as the filter is driven into self-oscillation, mirroring its hardware counterparts. Of course, keyboard tracking can also be applied to the filter for a smooth, adjustable cutoff gradient across the keyboard range.

  • UK delivery is free for all orders over £50.
  • In stock orders placed before 4pm are dispatched same day.
  • All items are sent with DPD. For added security, expensive items will require a pin code at delivery which is emailed to you.
  • DPD aims to deliver next day, but some remote parts of the UK may experience a two day service.

Returns.

  • Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.
  • Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.
  • Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month manufacturer warranty.

Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of charge.

Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.

Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.

Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll
perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
