The MicroKorg XL+ features more than ever before with the inclusion of additional rich and beautiful analogue modelled synthesizer sounds taken from the renowned M1 and Vox organ as well as Korg's legendary stage piano and electric piano sounds. In addition, the Korg MicroKorg features some old-school sounds reminiscent of the mighty Mellotrons including flutes and strings. All 128 preset sounds come ready to use and offer a vast choice to suit all genres and keyboardists.

Following the grand tradition of the MicroKorg XL, Korg's MicroKorg XL+ offers two large knobs controlling the "music genre" and instrument category letting you choose the perfect sound more intuitively than ever before. In addition the MicroKorg XL+, just like its predecessor can be used as a vocoder function and comes with a gooseneck microphone. The vocoder is based around a 16-band filter bank and is capable of creating the "classic" vocoders sounds, but can also produce some impressive out of this world sounds by shifting filter frequencies or panning the sound.

Underneath it's retro-looking new design, the Korg MicroKorg XL+ boasts Korg's renowned MMT (Multiple Modelling Technology) to produce a vast array of deep, rich and lush sounds akin to analogue synthesis. Centred on 2 powerful and flexible oscillators, MMT is capable of producing a vast array of fat and powerful sounds complemented by impressive modulation techniques such as Variable Phase Modulation (VPM), cross modulation or unison to expand the sonic palette MicroKorg XL+. In addition the MicroKorg XL+ features two powerful and independent effect engines inspired by the legendary Kaoss Pad series, offering 17 flexible and rich effects including delay, reverb, ring modulation and grain shifter. Adding to this impressive functional keyboard, effects can be synch'd to MIDI.

The MicroKorg XL+'s new and improved keybed features 37 micro keys offering a better playing feel , making it easier to play chords and fast movements. Just like its predecessors, the MicroKorg XL+ compact and battery powered design are truly a gift for the gigging musician. What's more the Microkorg XL+ features a USB socket allowing for the connection to a computer, the deep editing of sounds through the editor software, and the download of many presets featured on Korg's legacy MS2000 and MS2000B as well as the original MicroKorg keyboard.

In stock orders placed before 4pm are dispatched same day.

All items are sent with DPD. For added security, expensive items will require a pin code at delivery which is emailed to you.

DPD aims to deliver next day, but some remote parts of the UK may experience a two day service.

Returns.

Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.

Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.

Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

Warranty

  • All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
    manufacturer warranty.
  • Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
    considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
    charge.
  • Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
  • Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
    customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
  • Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
