The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 Smart DJ Controller is the most popular beginner DJ controller in the FLX line-up and features BPM and genre bending mix capabilities to help you create seamless transitions with ease, no matter where you want to take your set.

Upgrading the incredibly popular DDJ-400 and DDJ-SB3 controllers, the DDJ-FLX4 offers Rekordbox, Serato and Djay users the perfect entry level controller with innovative features and a professional layout, one that’s familiar to anybody who has peered into a DJ booth recently.

To help bring everybody closer to the DJ booth, Pioneer DJ have created the new Smart CFX and Smart Fader features.

Combining the power of Rekordbox and Serato DJ Lite with the DDJ-FLX4, you can now switch between genres and tempos using either the crossfader or the channel faders when the Smart Fader feature is engaged. Using advanced syncing algorithms, the software will shift the tempo of the track you're mixing in to match the track that’s currently playing, while applying FX at the same time, as the fader position shifts so does the speed of both the incoming and outgoing track. As you complete the fader movement, the FX will decay over time.

Smart CFX provides simple one pot control over multiple FX – enabling you to focus on your transitions rather than complex FX routines. Simply select the FX you’d like to combine within Rekordbox or Serato DJ Lite and engage the Smart CFX control – it’s really that simple!

Mic Check...

The research and development team at Pioneer DJ has changed the signal routing for the microphone on the FLX4 from that used in previous entry level controllers such as the DDJ-400. The mic channel has two settings available within the Rekordbox utility menu - low latency and processed. Choosing the processed option gives you control over the EQ settings and effects including reverb, echo and pitch. This makes the DDJ-FLX4 the perfect choice for those wishing to livestream their sets.

Seamless streaming.

Rekordbox offers integration with a number of streaming services including Beatport, Beatsource, TIDAL and Soundcloud Go+ (all paid subscription services). Combine your DDJ-FLX4 with the millions of tunes available across your chosen streaming service(s).

Connect any device, anywhere.

The Rekordbox app allows users of iOS and Android devices to connect via Bluetooth or cable to mix almost anywhere that there’s a power source. In addition, the DDJ-FLX4 can be connected to a Mac or PC via USB cable and used with Rekordbox or Serato DJ Lite.

Thanks to its compact footprint, the FLX4 is lightweight and portable, if you’re going to travel with the unit, we recommend the DJC-B carry case from Pioneer DJ. Pair the DDJ-FLX4 with the Pioneer DJ DM-40 speakers and HDJ-Cue1 to create the perfect beginner DJ package.

  • All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
    manufacturer warranty.
  • Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
    considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
    charge.
  • Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
  • Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
    customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
  • Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
