The Pioneer DJ DJM-S11 battle mixer builds upon the foundations laid by the S9 and increase the creative potential with innovative new features.

Boasting a 4.3-inch customisable touchscreen that unlocks a host of new performance features, the DJM-S11 is designed to allow you to focus on your routine and mixing. The high-frame-rate screen allows you to reference tracks and settings, trigger FX and home in on the music rather than the laptop – saving you precious seconds. The S11 offers a number of screen modes, including Touch FX which allows you to trigger two effects at once. It’s also used to control decks 3 & 4 (more on this function in a moment) as well as taking care of FX setup.

While battling is usually a two-deck affair, the DJM-S11 includes the first three/four deck control in a DVS scratch mixer. This unique feature provides mix controls, including EQ, from the touchscreen (for balancing levels etc) and allows for playback of up to 4 tracks at once. This is perfect for live mashup creation and more. An added bonus of this feature is deck move – which allows you to reassign tracks from decks 1 to 4 and 2 to 3. You can also use dual deck control to adjust the volume and effects parameters at the same time.

You might have noticed the Smooth Echo button to the left of the up faders. This new feature allows turntablists to control a fully customisable echo from a pad or a fader – independent of the other effects being used. Speaking of effects, there are 22 beat FX built-in and these can be combined with the software effects offered by both Serato DJ and Rekordbox. Unlike other battle mixers, the software and beat FX can be used independently so you’re not tied to one or the other during a critical part of your routine.

As is often the case, the S11 introduces a new pad mode for Serato DJ Pro – Scratch Bank. This new feature allows you to quickly load scratch samples from four banks that are assigned within Serato DJ Pro. This feature also offers you the option to specify your start point – dropping in entire tracks during a routine is now a breeze!

Pioneer DJ’s now legendary Magvel fader has been upgraded for the S11. The rigidity of the knob mounting axis has been improved by 30% and this has improved the feel of the crossfader significantly. To preserve the mixers look, a special coating has been applied to the top panel to minimise cosmetic damage caused by wear and tear.

So, let’s get this bit out of the way. The DJM-S11 has direct USB connectivity – you can leave your hub at home and connect CDJs for use in controller mode and other accessories such as the DDJ-XP2. Of course, this means that you can also connect Rane Twelve MKii to your new Pioneer DJ mixer and enjoy the benefits of motorised control as well – a nice feature for those who prefer the feel of a moving platter.

Without doubt, there’s been plenty of resource invested into the creation of new features for the DJM-S11, but Pioneer DJ haven’t stopped there. The S11 now uses the same premium audio components that deliver the unmistakeable sound of the industry standard DJM-900NXS2. With 64-bit mixing and dithering, a low-jitter clock circuit as well as the high-quality 32-bit D/A converter taking care of the master output there isn’t a better sounding scratch mixer available today.

DPD aims to deliver next day, but some remote parts of the UK may experience a two day service.

Returns.

Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.

Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.

Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
manufacturer warranty.
Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
charge.
Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
