The Pioneer DJS-1000 is a performance tool to bring out the producer in most DJs and allow them to create grooves on the fly which seamlessly integrate into their DJ set.

With over 2,5000 built in loops and samples from Loopmasters, the DJS-1000 is ready to play out of the box and more importantly, ready for any DJ that is either new or an expert in production.

Those familiar with the Toraiz SP-16 will feel right at home on the DJS-1000 with many similar features and controls. Likewise, most DJs will find the layout and controls on the DJS-1000 familiar thanks to it’s NXS2 style form factor.

What the Pioneer DJS-1000 does is to play back either the built in samples or ones prepared and stored on a USB device using the 16 performance pads to trigger them and the 16 step sequencer to build them into a whole track. You can even sample from an external source straight on the DJS-1000 and play the sample back over the current pattern, even in perfect sync.

There are 8 on board FX which are easy to control as well as seamless linking and syncing with Pioneer NXS2 units playing RekodBox prepared tracks linked via RJ45.

Touch Screen

The 7 inch touch screen is taken from the flagship CDJ2000 NXS2 player, with crisp, bright display and accurate response. It can be used to browse the built in sounds and see which sounds are assigned to each pad together with useful icons and colour coding. The display can be switched to Sequence view to show the pattern being played or to mixer view to adjust the volume or balance of each track.

The 16 performance pads on the DJS-1000 are backlit with RGB LEDs to match the clip colours and are velocity sensitive to play the sounds at different levels depending on how hard the pad is pressed.

The pads have 4 modes : Clip triggering, Hot Slice, Slice and Scale to play notes on the pads similar to a keyboard.

The multi function touch strip can be used to adjust the track pitch or FX parameters or be assigned to other functions such as MIDI.

Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.

Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.

Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

  • All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
    manufacturer warranty.
  • Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
    considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
    charge.
  • Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
  • Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
    customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
  • Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
