PLAYdifferently have announced a four-channel version of their popular MODEL 1 DJ mixer, bringing the same unrivalled analogue experience to MODEL 1.4, a compact 4-channel design with the same uncompromising approach.

The four-channel MODEL 1.4 features all the same components of the original, with the same analogue overdrive per channel, parametric EQ rather than three-band, analogue filter per channel, dual cue system, three-band master EQ, D-Sub connection round back for analogue connection to soundcards, two phono preamps, two-band booth EQ and master high and low-pass filters. There are also two stereo send and return channels for effects or extra creative routing.

Built in the UK and sharing MODEL 1’s 100% analogue design, key features include four stereo channels, two stereo send and return channels, two mix outputs and two high performance phono preamps. Each channel also has its own hi- and low-pass filters, precision SCULPT EQ and analogue overdrive circuit.

Just like MODEL 1, MODEL 1.4 also boasts two independent cue systems, D-Sub I/O for high end sound card integration and the Mixer Link system that allows multiple PLAYdifferently mixers to be linked together, giving you a truly scalable system to grow with your ambitions and not limit your creative possibilities.

The compact MODEL 1.4 is ideal for home studios and perfect for streaming. At a more affordable price, but with no compromise to the purity of design and components, it's essentially a smaller format MODEL 1 with four channels, perfect for the home, as a compact club mixer, or as a nimble tour instrument.

    All items are sent with DPD. For added security, expensive items will require a pin code at delivery which is emailed to you.

    DPD aims to deliver next day, but some remote parts of the UK may experience a two day service.

    Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.

    Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.

    Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

    Warranty

    • All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
      manufacturer warranty.
    • Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
      considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
      charge.
    • Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
    • Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
      customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
    • Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
