The Rane System One is a powerful standalone DJ system built on Engine DJ and engineered to meet Rane’s uncompromising performance standards. Featuring motorised direct-drive platters, a high-resolution touch display, advanced FX, and seamless Omni Source playback, System One delivers true turntable feel with next-generation standalone flexibility.

The Rane System One Standalone DJ System is the first Engine DJ device from inMusic’s flagship brand. Built on a powerful new ARM-based platform, it is the first Engine DJ product capable of meeting Rane’s demanding performance standards for open-format and multi-genre DJs.

From the moment you unbox the System One, it’s clear this is something special - a greatest-hits collection of Rane’s most recent controller designs. Its robust, all-metal chassis houses two high-torque, high-resolution 7.2-inch motorised direct-drive platters, delivering a turntable experience that is unrivalled in the standalone and DJ controller world.

At the heart of the unit is an exceptionally capable two-channel mixer, packed with 25 FX designed to help DJs craft their signature sound. From building tension through transitions to holding peak energy on the dancefloor, the System One gives you the tools to command every moment of your set.

Positioned between the mixer’s gain controls is a 7-inch portrait-mounted touch screen, which acts as the main interface for all connected sources. Thanks to Rane’s new Omni Source technology, DJs can seamlessly switch between onboard HDDs, USB drives, Wi-Fi streaming services, or Mac/PC DJ software - all without rebooting the unit.

Three dedicated playlist bank buttons allow instant access to playlists built on the fly from any source, highlighting the flexibility and power of this new platform.

That processing power is also evident in the System One’s STEMS controls, including dedicated STEM level adjustments positioned across the control surface. From launch, DJs can control Engine DJ STEMS pre-rendered in Engine DJ Desktop, with onboard high-resolution STEM rendering coming to the System One in early 2026.

These controls will also support Serato DJ Pro STEMS once compatibility is added to Serato DJ Pro* in February 2026, with Algoriddim Djay** support arriving during the first quarter of 2026.

Beyond performance and processing, the System One delivers the exceptional audio quality Rane is known for. A 10-band EQ is available for both booth and main outputs, allowing precise sound shaping for any venue. A powerful anti-feedback system ensures clear, controlled microphone reproduction, while professional connectivity throughout - including a locking IEC power connection - guarantees reliability in demanding environments.

Visual feedback is provided by the crisp touch screen display, while Engine DJ waveforms have been reworked in RGB format to improve clarity when mixing between multiple sources. For those who prefer it, the classic Engine DJ colour scheme can be enabled in the settings. Each bank of eight performance pads is paired with its own OLED display, keeping DJs fully informed of the active pad mode without losing focus on the music.

As with all Engine DJ devices, SoundSwitch lighting control is built directly into the Rane System One, allowing DJs to create a fully immersive atmosphere. From colour selection to light-show intensity, the intuitive controls make it easy to take command of both sound and visuals - ensuring every performance leaves a lasting impression.

  • Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
  • Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
    customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
  • Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
