The Technics SL1210MK7R is a limited edition variant of the popular SL1210MK7. This collaborative effort with Red Bull, which it should be noted is the first of its kind for Technics, is a clear nod to the hip hop and dance culture which the original SL1210MK2 helped to spawn decades ago.

Red Bull’s BC One tournament is a worldwide competition where B-Boys and B-Girls battle for supremacy on the dancefloor. With incredible routines and some of the most spectacular moves around, the spectacle is underpinned by the beats that competitors move to. The Technics SL1200/1210MK2 has been a cornerstone of hip-hop culture, and the Japanese manufacturer wanted to create a special deck in recognition of this, while embracing a current celebration of the sound.

As with previous limited edition SL1200/1210 turntables, the BC One Red Bull deck features cosmetic tweaks to make it stand out from the crowd. For the first time ever, another brand logo is present on the deck. The SL1210MK7R also sports a stunning gold effect tonearm and red head shell. Included in the box are some control vinyl stickers, a BC One slipmat and some Technics and Red Bull stickers as well as the usual accessories.

From a technical perspective, the deck is identical to the SL1210MK7 – performing just as you’d expect a Technics turntable would in the DJ booth. The SL1210MK7R is limited to a quantity of 1000 pieces worldwide, with just 250 destined for the UK – so you’ll need to secure your decks as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

All items are sent with DPD. For added security, expensive items will require a pin code at delivery which is emailed to you.

DPD aims to deliver next day, but some remote parts of the UK may experience a two day service.

Returns.

Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.

Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.

Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

  • All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
    manufacturer warranty.
  • Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
    considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
    charge.
  • Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
  • Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
    customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
  • Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
