The Union Audio eq.xfader is a revolutionary rackmount unit designed to complement and expand the mixing capabilities of Union Audio's flagship orbit.6 analogue rotary mixer. This innovative device combines a dual 4-band isolator design with an Innofader crossfader, offering unmatched versatility and control for DJs and audio enthusiasts.

Dual 4-Band Isolator Design
The eq.xfader features dual 4-band isolators, allowing precise control over the frequency bands of connected audio sources, enabling users to boost or cut as needed.

Innofader Crossfader
Equipped with a high-quality Innofader crossfader, the eq.xfader ensures smooth and seamless transitions between audio sources, enhancing the mixing experience.

6-Channel Architecture
Designed to mirror the orbit.6 mixer, the eq.xfader offers a 6-channel architecture, providing seamless integration with the orbit.6 and expanding mixing possibilities.

Mix/Cut Switch
The Mix/Cut switch alters the crossfader's functionality, allowing users to switch between gradual transitions in Mix mode and full volume in Cut mode.

Expansion Options
The eq.xfader offers expansion options through the Mixer Insert, enabling daisy-chaining of multiple units, and the Iso Insert for additional processing such as Graphic EQ, Compressor, and FX units.

Additional Highlights
eq.xfader is crafted in the same way as our class leading orbit.6, using only premium-grade materials and components to ensure long life and superb sound quality.

The front panel is precision machined from 6mm 5083 Aluminium tooling plate, glass bead blasted, anodised and silk-screened, while the rugged steel chassis is manufactured from 1.5mm Zintec, black texture powder-coated and white silkscreened.

All connectors are either gold or silver plated, and internally high precision film capacitors are used throughout. Potentiometers are long-life metal-shaft Alps types.

In stock orders placed before 4pm are dispatched same day.

All items are sent with DPD. For added security, expensive items will require a pin code at delivery which is emailed to you.

DPD aims to deliver next day, but some remote parts of the UK may experience a two day service.

Returns.

Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.

Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.

Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

  • All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
    manufacturer warranty.
  • Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
    considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
    charge.
  • Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
  • Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
    customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
  • Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
