The Rode Thread Adaptor is a premium universal adaptor kit for mounting a range of devices onto any mic stand, boompole, tripod or studio arm. It features 1/4, 3/8, and 5/8 inch adaptors in a unique integrated set with a carabiner for safekeeping. These can be configured to connect any standard thread to any standard mount – a lifesaver on set, in the studio, or in the field – and it features a handy driver for tightening and loosening the adaptors.

The Thread Adaptor features a bespoke design with a premium feel and finish – a must-have "everyday carry" accessory for sound engineers, filmmakers, and photographers.

Adapt To Any Situation
There’s nothing more frustrating than when you’re on set or in the studio and realise the thread size of your mic clip and stand don’t match up, or you need to mount your microphone but only have light stands available. The Thread Adaptor is a lifesaver in these moments. It features:

A carabiner clip for attaching it to keys, clothing or a camera/audio bag so you always have it on hand, plus an integrated driver for tightening or loosening the adaptors.

  • A 1/4" male to 5/8” female adaptor for connecting accessories with a 1/4" thread to any standard microphone stand or mount.
  • A 5/8” male to 3/8” female adaptor for connecting accessories such as mic clips or shock mounts to stands that have a 5/8” thread.
  • A 3/8” male to 1/4" female adaptor for mounting microphones and accessories onto camera gear.

Different combinations of the above threads can be used to create a wide range of thread conversions so you can adapt to any situation. The Thread Adaptor is made from durable stainless steel and brass and will last a lifetime.

In stock orders placed before 4pm are dispatched same day.

All items are sent with DPD. For added security, expensive items will require a pin code at delivery which is emailed to you.

DPD aims to deliver next day, but some remote parts of the UK may experience a two day service.

Returns.

Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.

Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.

Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

  • All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
    manufacturer warranty.
  • Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
    considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
    charge.
  • Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
  • Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
    customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
  • Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
