Exciting news just in – Apple has introduced DJ with Apple Music which enables Apple Music subscribers to build and mix sets with the huge online catalogue that is available.
The latest feature is integrated with both DJ and All-in-One/Standalone DJ systems from AlphaTheta, Denon DJ, Numark, Pioneer DJ, Rane DJ, Rekordbox and Serato DJ as well as Algoriddim’s Djay Pro Software (which already includes an Apple Music integration).
With other 100 million songs to choose from (yep, that’s one massive catalogue) and 30,000 playlists - DJs from bedrooms, bars, DJ booths and festival stages can now create sets using a wide range of hardware and software.
Take advantage of the extensive Apple Music library at your fingertips, finding the perfect track for any moment is effortless. Expand your DJ sets by exploring genres beyond your usual choices. Make use of the search function for instant access to trending hits or timeless classics. Plus, by creating mashups or adding effects to familiar tracks, you can unlock new creative possibilities and elevate your mixes.
Users can now explore a dedicated DJ category page on Apple Music, featuring a selection of DJ-friendly editorial playlists. Additionally, new curator pages for each DJ software and hardware platform will highlight mixes and sample playlists, perfect for practice and inspiration.
