The Pioneer DDJ-200 is a smart DJ controller compatible with smartphone and iPhone. The DDJ-200 offers an intuitive way for anyone to get into mixing music. The smart DJ controller is compatible with a variety of music streaming apps and offers access to features that make it easier to get DJing right away. You can use the DDJ-200 to mix tracks at home, have it as a backup controller, or as an introduction to mixing.

Smart phone apps like WeDJ, djay and Edjing Mix all connect to the DDJ-200 via Bluetooth MIDI. Because the controller does not house a soundcard, all audio processing is done via the users Smart Device. The master and headphones audio output can then be split from the device using the included audio splitter cable.

The DDJ-200 is compatible with WeDJ for iPhone straight out of the box and it comes with a rekordbox dongle (worth €139) which enables you to use rekordbox dj, the professional performance app for PC/Mac.

Pioneer WeDJ 2.0 App
WeDJ is a DJ performance app which allows you to mix music on your iPhone/iPad/Android device. The colourful, animated 2-channel interface with waveforms, jog wheels, play/cue buttons, tempo sliders and a crossfader, make it easy to get creative with tracks from your iTunes library.

The DDJ-200 makes it easy to start DJing with the help of the Tutorial feature in Pioneer's brand new free app.

Download the WeDJ app for iPhone from the App Store or WeDJ for Android from the Google Play Store.

Connect the DDJ-200 to your iPhone and mix songs from your iTunes via the WeDJ app. Or connect the software to SoundCloud Go+ and Beatport’s new Beatport LINK streaming service to access huge online sources of music. Download Algoriddim’s djay iOS/Android app or MWM SAS’s edjing Mix iOS/Android app and access content from SoundCloud and Deezer.

The layout of the buttons and dials on the DDJ-200 inherits the style of Pioneer's professional DJ equipment to make it simple for you to get hands-on and find all the controls you need to perform. To help you get to grips with DJing as quickly as possible, we’ve added the Tutorial and Transition FX features to WeDJ for iPhone, both of which are popular with beginners.

    Combine the DDJ-200 with WeDJ for iPhone to use the Tutorial feature which summarizes the basics of DJing.     The DDJ-200 is the world’s first DJ controller to reproduce various patterns of DJ mixes between tracks for people with no experience behind the decks. Activate the Transition FX feature in WeDJ, choose from 11 patterns, and simply slide the crossfader to switch from one track to the next via a professional-standard transition.

    Phrase Sync – world’s first feature on a controller for easy, natural switches between tracks
    Our phrase analysis algorithms will analyze the composition of your tracks and detect phrases. When you tap the dedicated buttons in WeDJ for iPhone, Phrase Sync uses the information from this analysis to align the start and end positions of the phrases in two tracks so you can be sure it will sound natural when you switch between them. The DDJ-200 is the world’s first DJ controller to offer this kind of feature.

    Compact, lightweight body for DJing anytime, anywhere
    Take the DDJ-200 wherever you want, thanks to its lightweight and slim body. There’s no need to carry speakers because you can play sound from the built-in speaker of your smartphone, tablet, or PC/Mac. And the DJ controller can be powered via a power bank so you don’t even need to stay close to an outlet.

    Split output for DJ performances
    Use split cables to separate the audio output of your smartphone, tablet, or PC/Mac into master and monitor outputs. This enables you to check audio via your headphones, e.g., cueing the next track, while the crowd hears the master sound playing through the speakers.

    Supporting common software applications ensures product appeal to different users. Although the DDJ-200 is targeted towards iOS/Android users, rekordbox dj works free of charge via USB. The DDJ-200 is our second product that does not need a rekordbox dj licence key, but works via a ‘Dongle USB’ protocol.

    New users need to get set-up and operational, and more importantly sounding like a DJ as quickly as possible. WeDJ 2.0 will house a variety of interactive and animated tutorials including controller connection guides and WeDJ features and functions tips.

    Streaming Support
    Beatport will announce Beatport LINK alongside their traditional download store. WeDJ will be the first application to support this service. For €14.99 PCM users can stream the Beatport catalogue* directly into WeDJ. WeDJ 2.0 (iPhone) also supports the DDJ-WeGO3 & DDJ-WeGO4.

      considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
      charge.
    • Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
    • Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
      customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
    • Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
